choose a realtor
As your Realtor, I work diligently to help you achieve your real estate goals. I truly believe this can be a fun and stress-free process when it is done right!
Get Pre-Approved
If you haven’t already, you should meet with a mortgage consultant and get pre-approved for a loan.
Refine Your Focus
We’ll work together to hone your housing “wish list”, which provides clarity on “must haves” and “nice to haves”, as well as location and budget.
View Properties
Utilizing MLS and networking, I’ll gather a list of properties for you to see in person, and work with the seller to choose a time and day that works for to get you into the property.
Make an Offer
If you know you’ve found the right property, it’s time to put an offer together.
Negotiate Terms
Sometimes a little collaboration with the seller is necessary in order to secure your home; I’ll work hard on your behalf to secure a deal where everyone wins.
Get an Inspection
Having the property’s systems and structures evaluated during the inspection period helps eliminate surprises for all parties, and ensures the home meets city requirements.
closing
At closing, you will review and sign the relevant closing papers…then the keys are passed to you and the house is yours!
“Paige helped us sell our home and if it wasn't for her great communication skills, bubbly personality during our open houses, follow through and persistence, I don't think we would have been able to sell our home so quickly!”-abby anderson
Why You Need a Realtor
When buying or selling a home, there’s so many options…which can also present a lot of obstacles. Laws change, forms change, and practices change all the time in the real estate industry. Because it’s our job to stay on top of those things, hiring a realtor reduces risk, and can also save you a lot of money in the long-run.
When you work with me as your Realtor, you’re getting an expert who knows the area; knows how to skillfully guide your experience as a seller or buyer; can easily spot the difference between a good deal and great deal. My job is to translate your dream into a real estate reality, and I work hard to earn and keep my business. This also means earning your trust: When you work with me, you’ll be working with a realtor who looks out for your best interests and is invested in your goals.
The Home Selling Process
Selling a home is often considered stressful, but it doesn’t have to be! Whether you’re moving to a new area, upgrading to your dream home, or downsizing to fit a new phase in your life, selling your home can be an exciting process that smooths the way for whatever the future holds. To help, we’ve outlined the most important factors every homeowner should consider when they’re preparing to put their home on the market.
Working with a Realtor
As your Realtor, I’ll make recommendations about everything from staging to pricing to negotiating the sale of your home, and will provide a robust marketing plan for your property.
Preparing foR Market
As you prepare to sell, I’ll give you expert advice on which season you should choose to sell your home, as it can have a big impact on your experience. I’ll also guide you on what kind of renovation and fast fixes are needed in readying your home for sale.
Staging your home
Aesthetics and design are part of my passions as a realtor, and I’ll help make sure your home staging feels spacious, warm, and move-in friendly. I’ll also arrange to have your listing photos taken professionally to ensure they showcase your home in its best light.
Pricing your homE
A buyer’s primary focus is not to give you how much you’re asking for your home - it’s to pay what they believe your home is worth. I’ll help you nail the best price for your home, one that maximizes buyer momentum during that critical first two week period of being on the market.
MARKETING YOUR HOME
You’ll want to market your home using online listings, a grand opening rollout plan, and home showings. We’ll work together to create the most impactful marketing plan to maximize excitement about your home once it’s listed.
SHOWING YOUR HOME
Once your home is listed, showings can happen quickly…and if it’s a seller’s market, there can be multiple showings in the first 48 hours! When you work with me, scheduling home showings couldn’t be easier - just a simple Y or N text response from you is all it takes!
offers
There are many things that can be negotiated with an offer - and price is just one of them. I’ll help you decide what offers make the most sense and will get you your best deal.
CLOSING
After accepting an offer, there’s typically a nine-step process to get you to the closing table…don’t worry - I’ll be there to walk you through each step! When that process is complete, the buyer and seller meet to sign all relevant contracts, exchange funds, and hand over keys. Then it’s time to celebrate!
